Tonight the tide was low, low, low as we took our almost daily hour-long walk along the Hudson River back & forth from the Englewood Boat Basin to Ross Dock. With a soft touch on my arm and a whispered “Shhhh,” Linda pointed out the blue heron feeding in the mud of the river bottom. We stood and watched until it flew off low over the water . . .then the lights, which are pink this month, on GWB turned on — so lovely!
