New Year's Eve

A year ago, I spent New Year's Eve in a hospital with my beloved Linda, who died five days later. One of the things I did during my year of learning- to-live without her, was put a memorial bench for her in Allison Park, a nearby favorite & serene place with spectacular views of the Hudson River, George Washington Bridge, and New York City. Feeling particular sad with the memory, I made a dusk-visit to Linda's bench. The views from her bench were gorgeous & my sadness lifted.
