Poets in a corner
While sheltering-in-place, I have been culling through and organizing (or trying to) my archives. This piece from bookWomen, my favorite literary journal, appeared in the August-Septembe 2011 edition, p. 13. Since then three more women were added: 2012 Katherine Anne Porter 1890-1980, Love must be learned again and again; there is no end to it. 2014 Mary Flannery O'Connor, 1925-1964, I can, with one eye squinted, take it all as a blessing. 2015 Zora Neale Hurston, 1891-1960, The dream is the truth.
