Just home from a fabulously exhilarating March in Washington, DC celebrating the centennial of Delta Sigma Theta and of the 3/3/1913 Grand Suffrage Parade–15,000 plus Deltas in red from almost every state & many countries, including Korea, Philippines, Germany,
and representatives from organization such as the National Women’s History Project, NOW, Sewall-Belmont House . . . .I loved meeting up with so many dear friends and introducing them to Sophie, my 9-year-old granddaughter, especially Margaret Zierdt, who at age 91 marched a good bit of the route down Pennsylvania Avenue..
