Yesterday–the day before Sandy was due to hit our area, I filled the bird feeders. Lots of birds there this morning– Cardinals, Blue Jays, a Downy Woodpecker, a Red-bellied Woodpecker, Nuthatches . . . then at 2:30pm I looked out to see these visitors!
