Lucky, lucky us–two nights in a row of going to the Metropolitan Opera, and tomorrow is the radio broadcast! It happened this way because we had to exchange tickets once my teaching schedule got set. It’s a wonderful happenstance because my writing on Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony has been flowing–I’m right up against the deadline–and going to the opera will not disrupt that (nor does my time with Sophie); everything else does to some extent.
