A photo from our Sophie/Grammy Road Trip, which included a trail ride, whale watching (no whales but Sophie loved the slow rolling waves ((I didn't!!))), a return ferry trip to Rose Island in Narragansett Bay & then a sailing trip during which the captain asked Sophie if she wanted to sail the Aquidneck, a two-masted schooner. Sitting beside her, he quietly gave her instructions, and then left her alone at the helm. While she happily sailed for at least 10 minutes, I watched wide-eyed at her aplomb. Another memorable adventure! Having forgotten my camera, I took this photo with my cell phone (a first) & then figured out how to email it to myself.
